I've been working with children, adults, and families for more than 12 years and am passionate about helping people heal from difficult experiences and create healthier, more connected relationships.
I am typically clocked as the person who looks professional on the outside, but who's a big goof on the inside. I believe therapy doesn't have to feel stiff or intimidating. In fact, I value authenticity and humor, and I want people to feel like they can bring all of who they are into the room.
I am trained in EMDR and nationally rostered in Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP). My work is rooted in attachment, trauma, and whole-person care, integrating approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Circle of Security, somatic practices, and other evidence-based interventions.
While I believe goals and direction are important, I also believe some of the best moments in therapy happen when there is room for curiosity, playfulness, and simply being human together. I strive to balance structure with flexibility, allowing therapy to feel purposeful without losing spontaneity and genuine connection.
Whether I am working with adults, young children, or families with young children, my goal is the same: helping people break old patterns, strengthen relationships, and build lives that feel more secure and meaningful.
In addition to my therapy practice, I am the founder of The First Caseload, where I provide consultation, training, and professional development for early career therapists. If you are interested in learning more, you can do so at my website: https://www.thefirstcaseload.com/
Outside of the office, life is shared with my wife and our two huskies, Cody and Nakita. I enjoy being active, traveling, spending time outdoors, and embracing my inner geeky child through cartoons, anime, and gaming.
